We Are
The Angel Breaks Foundation is a non-profit organization
dedicated to assisting families coping with illness enjoy
a vacation. The objective of Angel Breaks is
to fulfill the lives of children affected with illness
with a week of enjoyment and a break from the reality
of their circumstances.
What
We Do
The Angel Breaks Foundation provides vacation homes along
the Atlantic Coast to families coping with illness. This
allows parents, children and teens who are ill enjoy a
true family vacation together at the beach. Area property
owners donate their beach homes to Angel Breaks for one-week
increments, and work with various property management
companies and rental agencies in providing the homes to
the families.

areas, such as Bethany Beach and Rehoboth Beach,
DE; and Hidden Valley, PA
Angel
Breaks was founded in February of 2008 by Marnie Oursler,
a custom homebuilder in Bethany Beach, Delaware. After
teaming up with college roommate and best friend Andrea
Wilds, a nurse at Johns Hopkins, the groundwork of Angel
Breaks was formed. . Andrea works in conjunction with
Johns Hopkins and other Batltimore and Washinton DC hospitals.
Marnie focuses more on the vacation/resort areas of the
organization in finding homes and volunteers during the
vacation months. Together they form an unbreakable bond
for Angel Breaks, a truly non-profit organization.
